Hi friends. Special librarian here, working in global health/development. I'm wondering if anyone can give me an estimate for an hourly rate for a copyright specialist to consult for us on the ins and outs of providing library services outside of our institution. We're exploring the idea of offerring pay-per-use article retrieval and literature searching to sister organizations. I just need a ballpark figure for budgeting purposes. Thanks!

You can also consider inviting a knowledgeable copyright librarian to visit your campus or work with you virtually on this. I would not say there is any standard hourly rate that I'm aware of among copyright librarians for helping with something like this. If you'd be interested in working with a copyright librarian, I'd actually recommend that you reach out to a few, explain the assistance you'd need for this project, and ask if they would be willing to work with you for a fee or honorarium. They can then let you know what services they may be willing/able to offer and their own rates.
