Trademarking a name

  I'm a singer-songwriter. I'm looking to trademark my artist name, so that I am the only one with rights to upload my music to platforms like Spotify with my name.

  I understand that usually, trademarking a name only applies to the country/region you're registering it in. But for a situation like this, where platforms like Spotify are used internationally, what would be my best plan of action? If I only trademark my name in the U.S. trademark office/database, will other people still have the right to use my name in other countries? How do I combat this?
