Hi everyone,
I have been granted the copyright of a book, for the translation in my lanuage in 2009, and the author have just passed away this year. The book have not been published yet. Am I still the the holder of the copyriht of the translation? If yes, can his heirs revoke my copyright?
Thank you in advance for the answers!
Petru

If I understand your question, and you have the copyright to the translation, the author's death should have no impact on your rights. Even though the book is not published, you should register your copyright with the Copyright Office.

Good luck!
