  I have a teacher who would like to digitize a significant portion (75%) of her algebra text for student use in OneNote. I understand this amount would fall outside the amount stipulated under fair use but we did purchase the right to reproduce the text in print form from the publisher. Does this extend to reproducing the text electronically and only for class use, available only to our school community?

  Probably best to check back with the publisher in this situation -- if you did NOT have the agreement for the paper reproduction, you'd be having to make a permissions request anyway for an amount this large.
