  The college has permission from Samuel French to perform the play however the license information from Samuel French seems to indicate that this may be a violation of copyright law. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  The license information will trump copyright law, I believe- if your license says that you can't do it, you probably shouldn't do it even if it would be legal otherwise.
