Can I use the branded logos of the watches I am buying?
Thanks Sean. - September 24, 2011 @ 11:56amGClement says:Without seeing the exact design of your website, it is hard to know exactly how you plan to reproduce the logos. That said, it sounds like your use of other people's logos could constitute Trademark and Copyright Infringement.
The latter would depend on whether the logos in question are of sufficient originality and creativity to be elible for copyright protection. The rainbow apple used by Apple is an example of a logo that represents both a trademarked and copyrighted work. The phrase 'Just Do It' would be covered by Trademark protection, but not copyright because words and short phrases are simple not eligible for copyright protection.
