Question from a Comic Book Creator...
- April 8, 2005 @ 4:58amkagesho says:is it better to copyright individual characters that appear in my stories or should I just copyright the book/volume that the character appears in?

In the US, once something is created in fixed form, it's copyrighted without you needing to do anything.
If you're referring to registering copyright, you can't register your characters per se- you'd need to register a drawing of your characters, or something else in tangible form. It would probably be easier to register the volume. - April 8, 2005 @ 12:34pmkagesho says:Thanks a lot, cjovalle. That question was really bugging for some time now.
