embed logo into a product photo

I am looking for ways to protect images on a website and I had this idea:
- Embedd the logo of our company into the foto of product.
The product may be anything, and the logo will look as it was the part of the product, like this:
http://www.quazartecnologia.com/adidas/
(I embedded the logo of adidas in a watch)
The problem of this method is that visitor may think that as the product in the picture is of our own. Would this way of protection be legal? I guess not.
But what if I add a legend at the bottom of the image like: "The logo of our company was embedded in the picture for protection reasons" ? Would it be legal now?
Any comments? - May 20, 2005 @ 7:46amAFry says:I answered this question on your other thread: http://librarycopyright.net/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=119
Since I didn't understand your question the first time, I deleted my original response on this thread.
